Papier-mâché Hand-Painted Box
What if your diwali gifts could change lives?
This papier-mâché box is handpainted by an artist with disabilities in Kashmir. The box depicts the chinar leaf a reminder of the beauty of nature. This traditional technique of using paper pulp to make shapes and then hand painting them is unique to India and when the work is a means for a person with disability to live with dignity then gifting it is surely to bring blessings all round.
Each box comes with a free gift bag handmade by people with disabilities in Delhi. Gift bag colour and pattern may vary from the picture.
